Thanks for stopping by to learn more about who we are and what we do! The Salluit Amaruq Hockey Club is so much more than just a hockey program. This program was created seven years ago in the Inuit community of Salluit, Nunavik in attempt to use hockey as a tool to promote positive behaviour, high attendance, and community involvement and has since evolved into a holistic wellness initiative that partners with Inuit elders, community members, and youth, while also utilizing data from Inuit-led organizations to co-create culturally relevant programming with a specific focus on physical, mental, and cultural wellness.
